#100 happy days: Days 11 -15

More glimpses of a lucky, lovely life.

Day 11 we celebrated Henry and his birthday.  So fortunate to have such a kind, clever and hilarious friend!

Day 12 was a video of Leela...imagine her purring up a storm and headbutting the phone out of my hand to get the desired effect!

Day 12 again, homemade huevos rancheros, heavy on the guac, chunky on the pico de gallo.

Day 13, up so early I had time for an iced coffee on the way to work.

Also Day 13, this hoodie arrived.  I love Mean Girls and have needed a new hoodie for a while, so when I saw this I had to indulge!

Day 14, coffee and marking and giggling at Romeo, one of next doors cats, sneakily trying to pop in for a snack and a snooze (he and the other neighbour cat, Simba, are very sweet and love to hang out with our gang!).
Day 15, a looooong day.  But getting to bed is always a happy moment!

Project Life Tuesday: Last week in November

The Mom Creative

The last week in November passed in a whirl of friends and fun and busy-ness.  Only some of which I remembered to photograph!  Monday was Bodeans with Matthew and Henry - good food and chat.  Tuesday was a blogger meet-up - always lovely to meet some new folk and catch up with some familiar faces.  On Wednesday it was back to the warehouse for a final push on Holiday Hampers.  Thursday I actually made it home by eight and had a cosy evening with my honey and the katzen.  We even managed to finish the trees!

On Friday we joined Eileen, Rory and lots of other friends for a late Thanksgiving, on Saturday in was K.  Sunday was lazy and restful, will a good old catch up with Hannah and a card writing session.  Love this busy and blessed season!

Dave the tree, in all his splendour!

First Christmas card of the season!

 Little Miss Paws.

 Mmmmmm, barbeque....

I love our Christmas card this year!

The bag of fun I made for the raffle at K!  Hope you enjoy it, Eileen!

And now we're in December!  Woo!

A change is as good as a rest

And this break has been both a change and a rest.  But now it's time to get back to London.

It'll be a shame to leave Bruges (pics soon!) and the uber comfy hotel bed of win (TM).  It's been great hanging out as a duo and taking some chill time, but now I can hear the call of London town.  Looking forward to snuggling the kits, getting some work done, hearing Henry's housesitting adventures (thank you, dear boy!) and catching up with some fine folk this weekend.

Nous allons au eurostar maintenant! A bientot!

Things I Like

1. Leafing through the Boden catalogue, daydreaming of what I might buy...when they next have a super sale!

2. Half-term break peeking around the corner.

3. Pukka nighttime tea and a good book at bedtime.

4. Cheese and pickle sandwiches - as an occasional treat they are worth every point!

5. Prioritising.

6. Cooler temperatures meaning cooler outfits - it's so much easier to work a look in the autumn!

7. The power to help.

8. Purrs and cuddles.

9. An impromptu visit from Henry on the horizon!

10. Impending fun with some of my favourite girls.
